The focus is on the processes of structuring, drilling, precision cutting, and surface functionalization—particularly for applications in the fields of medical technology, microelectronics, and the semiconductor industry.

Since the company was founded in 2013, Pulsar has been intensively involved in the scaling of laser processes and the development of machine technology for industrial laser production - from single part to series production.

The headquarters are located in Aachen. Pulsar currently operates four production plants and employs 120 people. The company has been part of the Schunk Group since 2021.
