The Textile Research Institute Thuringia-Vogtland e. V. (TITV Greiz) is an industry-oriented research institute developing high-tech solutions based on textile materials. Its core expertise includes electrically conductive textiles, automated integration and contacting of electronic components, as well as textile-based sensors and actuators. Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and accredited testing facilities, TITV Greiz supports industry and research partners along the entire innovation chain – from concept development and prototyping to small-scale and series production. With around 60 interdisciplinary experts, the institute conducts funded research projects, contract research, product and process optimization, textile testing, and professional training and knowledge transfer.
