Hochschule Niederrhein - Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology
The Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach is one of the largest study locations for young textile engineers in Europe and stands for sound teaching, but also for innovation, sustainability and thus for future-oriented progress in the textile and clothing industry.
Since the winter semester 2022/23, the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences has been offering a new specialization in Textile Electronics for the Master's degree courses in Electrical Engineering and Textile Products.
A Bachelor's degree course in “Smart Textiles” is also currently being developed, which will start in the winter semester 2025/26 and offers the option of a double degree with the University of Borås in Sweden.
