pmTUC research: Neuromorphic circuits with 3D multilayer memristors

Company profile

The Institute of Print and Media Technology at Chemnitz University of Technology (pmTUC) has been conducting research in the field of printed electronics for 25 years with a focus on mass printing applications, in particular roll-to-roll technologies.
The main topics are
• Novel neuromorphic 3D circuit technologies based on a massive multilayer concept with printed memristors ("Print the Brain")
• printed organic solar cells (DFG research group popular)
• printed organic loudspeakers on foils or paper ("T-Paper")

In addition, components for sensor technology, energy storage and circuit technology are printed. We have a fully equipped research laboratory with extensive roll-to-roll printing capabilities. The focus here is on cost-effective solutions without a clean room using conventional production technology from the printing industry.
