In the field of "printed electronics", Hamamatsu Photonics offers the SPOLD and DDL laser processing systems, which enable efficient laser sintering of functional inks without thermal influence on the substrate (e.g. PET, PI, glass, etc.). They help to significantly improve both production speed and efficiency compared to conventional methods (oven). In encapsulation and soldering processes, the selectivity of lasers also prevents thermal stress on electronic components.
