An acceleration program towards the digital transition of the EU industry.

Company profile

SmartEEs2 is an EU-funded Digital Innovation Hub with main objective to accelerate the design, development and uptake of advanced digital technologies by European industry - especially SMEs and midcaps - in products that include Flexible & Wearable Electronics (FWE) based devices and systems, especially in sectors where digital technologies are underexploited.

As European hub, it ensures growing awareness in the opportunities of FWE technologies within industry, European investors, governments and other key stakeholders.

It also provides high value services in an affordable manner to help EU companies digitising their business thanks to FWE technologies testing, experimentation and manufacturing support: test before invest and skills development to meet companies’ needs.

SmartEEs builds a sustainable and pan-EU network of regional hubs in the field of FWE to increase the users base and to ensure that any business in Europe has access to a Digital Innovation Hub at ‘a working distance’.
