NOVA is a materials dispensing system designed for electronics R&D and material science research. It provides precise dispensing capabilities for novel and screen-printable materials (1,000 - 1,000,000 cps), adhesives, or custom materials for flexible, stretchable, conformable, and biocompatible electronics. Some notable applications dispensed on NOVA include printed batteries, bioelectronic devices, flexible PCBs, and printing with proprietary/custom inks.
NOVA unlocks multi-material and multilayer printing with streamlined software editing. It supports up to 4 stack-up layers, with more achievable depending on specific factors. Pressure-feedback dispensing allows for precision printing with real-time closed-loop pressure and temperature control. The integrated vision system provides alignment, printing, and inspection via machine vision and an AR overlay print preview.
NOVA is compatible with a variety of substrates, including flexible or stretchable substrates such as polyimide, PET, TPU, and paper, and rigid substrates such as FR1, FR4, silicon wafers, PCBs, glass, and ceramic.
