Adaptronics is redefining how robots and automated machines grasp and manipulate objects, on Earth and in Space, through its Electro Active Adhesive Layer (EAAL): a thin-film interface manufactured via printed electronics techniques, that becomes adhesive on command through electrostatic forces and integrates AI-driven sensing for proximity and contact.

EAAL-based products are fully electric and enable automated systems to handle objects of any shape, size, or material with 1000× higher energy efficiency and unprecedented versatility and constructive simplicity.

Adaptronics currently has over 15 paid pre-industrial projects with leading machine manufacturers in the packaging, e-commerce, and labelling sectors, and will reach commercial product sales within six months.

Adaptronics has recently closed a €3M seed round to consolidate its teams and production capabilities, paving the way for a Series A round in 2027 focused on full-scale commercialization and international growth.
